I came across your site quite by accident, and am completely blown away by the quality of your work! I’m a photographer, though early in my professional career, I’m looking forward to learning more, and if I had a photographer that I want to emulate, it’s *DEFINITELY* you.
A couple questions for you:
I would be interested in purchasing your truArt
Kimberley,
Thanks for stopping by and for the kind words about my work.
Rather than sell you my workflow, I’ll be sharing it here, in details, over the next weeks. At the moment, I’m laying out the foundation for it so that it is not overwhelming.
With regards to your question about ACR vs. LR, I am preparing a raw processor review. In the meantime, my thoughts are that raw processors are a very personal choice which depends on your shooting style, experience, ability, requirements as well as time investment you wish to make processing. Some have better image quality while their workflow could be called workslow. Other may produce almost perfect results with automatic settings while other could achieve *perfect* results with a lot of work. Unfortunately, at this stage, raw processors are a lot about trade-offs.
To answer your question, ACR and LR both use the same underlying engine but with different “skins” and interfaces. Because ACR is included in the price of Photoshop
I love your photography.
